Hi...around here (central Wisconsin) long terms subs do not get benefits. However, after subbing for 10 consecutive days for the same teacher, you do move up to regular teacher pay instead of the sub rate. Here you have to be certified in the area that you're subbing in in order to have a long term subbing assignment. HTH!
