I have also left teaching in a private school, because I want to teach in the public schools here in Orlando. I have found myself frustrated after my first interview and also feel a sense of emptyness, as I am not decorating my classroom and preparing lessons for the first weeks of school. I love teaching and I don't have children, so my job fills the emptyness of not having kids. I am still optimistic about getting a teaching job soon. I will try putting my foot in as a substitute if I have to. I'm studying interview questions and answers. I also prepared my portfolio with my statement of teaching philosophy.
