I am new to 4th grade this year and am totally overwhelmed. We have been going for two full weeks now (started on a thursday) and I am so lost still.I am in a new school so there are just 2 of us at our level (2 for each | upper grade, and three to 4 for the primary grades). My "partner" has 20+ years experience and is just really set in her ways--she is a master of the curriculum (although this only her second year in 4th) and her room is just PERFECT and she has done so much with her kids already. I am just floundering but have the attitude that I will get it and so I am not great yet--I will get there! | |
:-) And you will plant your feet soon too--it might take us time but we will make it. I am still readjusting to working because I taught for just one year (in 2nd) and then left to be a mommy for a year at home....and now I am back and feel so green and lost--but like the others' said--JUST ASK QUESTIONS. I am sort of just following my partner's lead for now until I can get things going on my own... Good luck!
