We are required to get a work sample for each objective every 9 weeks for each child. These samples are sometimes provided and sometimes you have to make them up. These samples or probes need to be broken down into percentages| toward mastery and attached to another sheet that has that goal printed. I have about 25 kids spread throughout 10 classrooms. About 50-%..are using inclusion and the others I pull out for small groups depending on what is needed. Every child has atleast 2-3 goals. This means me collecting, copying (so they can have their test back), grading, filing, every 9 weeks. In addition there | | are interims,testing, IEP prep etc. And of course I teach full days. I'm trying to figure out how I can do these probes that are not so time consuming as I really do love teaching. I was thinking of maybe some kind of a spread sheet/checklist. I just gets so complicated. Then I thought of a big chart. I hope this all makes sense. If anyone has any organizational ideas, I would love it.
