probes
By leslie

Clip to ScrapBook
We are required to get a work sample for each objective every 9 weeks for each child. These samples are sometimes provided and sometimes you have to make them up. These samples or probes need to be broken down into percentages
toward mastery and attached to another sheet that has that goal printed. I have about 25 kids spread throughout 10 classrooms. About 50-%..are using inclusion and the others I pull out for small groups depending on what is needed. Every child has atleast 2-3 goals. This means me collecting, copying (so they can have their test back), grading, filing, every 9 weeks. In addition there
are interims, testing, IEP prep etc. And of course I teach full days. I'm trying to figure out how I can do these probes that are not so time consuming as I really do love teaching. I was thinking of maybe some kind of a spread sheet/checklist. I just gets so complicated. Then I thought of a big chart. I hope this all makes sense. If anyone has any organizational ideas, I would love it.
