Ideas - Tales
By Jennifer in OK

Clip to ScrapBook
We are going to be starting this book next week. After the chapter where Fudge refuses to eat, we make a construction paper t-shirt. I have a t-shirt template I made out of manila folders. The kids trace the pattern on
the paper. Then they fold it in half to make 2 sides. On one side they put foods they eat (like) and on the other side they put foods they'd wear (dislike). We put them in the hall to display our "eat it or Wear it" shirts. One teacher has the kids bring a baby picture in where they have food all over themselves to put where their head would go.

I also play Fudge Jeopardy at the end

of the book in place of a test. I have made up several questions and put them on cards ranging from 10 - 50 points. I put the kids in teams and they have a team leader who is their spokesperson. Each team makes an animal sound for their buzzer (cat, cow, dog, monkey, etc.). The team with the most points wins.

Hope this helps!
