Way to go Kim!

Clip to ScrapBook
I am so proud of you! Enjoy that baby now and don't let the stress from the hiring problems ruin this special time in your life! When I did a special ed interim last year, for 5 weeks, there was a teacher that was due to
have her baby anytime! Such an exciting event in a mothers life! Well, she was up for interim and was pink slipped along with some other teachers. It was awful. When the kids were out of her room she would cry her heart out. It broke my heart. Here was a time that was supposed to be so special and she was devestated over losing her classroom and abiliyt to support her family. Once
you are pink slipped here you might as well move! Anyhow, enjoy the interim, and PLEASE don't go overboard in order to impress them into hiring you! I've tried that! Doesn't work! Leave at 3:00 or 3:30, don't take everything home to work on and don't get upset over them anymore! They are not worth it because it can and eventually will ruin your health! Email when you have time! Channel 4 News said something about a report to be given tomorrow about the teacher shortage here in Tennessee!
