I have found that short and to the point works better. I think your objective sounds great! You may consider leaving out the part of preferable Kindergarten, unless that is the only grade you would accept. It may lead schools to believe that you would be less enthusiastic about 1st or 2nd grade. Have you seen the book "Grade A Resumes for Teachers?" It is great!
