class meetings

I have a reasonably good group of kids this year, but I can see a few little disagreements among a some of my boys. Rather than having them escalate to major problems later on, I would like to have class meetings. I would like to know how those who have had class meetings in the past go about it: the first meeting and how the meetings are conducted, the roles of the kids, etc.
