Parents in the classroom
By Judy Morgan

Clip to ScrapBook
I have to admit doing this very thing, however it was with a K- student, but I added something more to the mix I had my 2 yr son and a baby with me. I NO I NO I NO. My daughter was find it was me I actually cried several
days when I left her class, she is my oldest daughter and its just killed me to let her go. So from a parents period view be gentle with that lingering parent, especially if you see that thier child is find and that its them having the problem. The lingering parent may turn out to be a great help to you during the school year. I ended up teaching Sign Language to my daughters class. Yes
they did great and learn quicker then any of the older kids, so I suggest everyone teach at least the basics of Sign Language. As for the parent being in your classroom your right its RUDE. If I needed to talk with a teacher I always either waited until after school or in this class if it was really important I would wait outside the classroom. CAN your classroom door be locked. Sorry all sometimes I ramble on
