Pen Pals

I am very interested in being pen pals with your class. I have never done this before, but am willing to give it a go. I teach in Ridgecrest, CA. We are located in the Mojave Desert about 80 miles west of Death Valley and 150 miles north of Los Angeles. I will have approximately 20 second graders. We start school August 21st. One of the CA standards for 2nd grade is to write a friendly letter, so there will be no problem with us responding...I have to teach letter writing Please respond or e-mail me to let me know if you think this could work out for your class.
