But this is the terrific energy of all our colleagues here at Proteacher Yes!
now for your questions:
Yes!Yes! to all your questions I read Jim Trelease's
handbook on read alouds. I checked it out of the library. It is one of the most wonderful books I've read on the subject.
Also, Im sure that the family of teachers here will agree that reading to 6th graders(Read Alouds) is fabulous just scroll back too and read the posts.
Oh, Elaine, please input, here too. She too is fab.

Congratualtions on your 6th grade position!!!
It's so exciting to guide these "in-betweens" At the end of the school year, they are new young people, yet, again.
