Hi Eileen. I love this thread,too. There are so many great ideas. I will be new to 6th grade so all ideas are greatly appreciated.
For read alouds in the 6th grade, scroll down on this page. Also, click on page 2. Then go to Archives and type in "read a louds". Hope this helps. This site is wonderful.
