raise responsibility

Clip to ScrapBook
I teach grade two and am thinking of implementing the system this year for the first time. I was trying to think of other terms to describe Marshall's ABCD's as I don't think my kids will quite get the vocabulary he uses.

"A"
= Acting out of control/Absence of order
"B" = Bullying/bossing/bothering (like in the book)
"C" = Cooperating when asked
"D" = Desiring to do what is right

I was also looking for some good children's literature to illustrate all of the behavioral levels. If anyone knows of any good ones, I would appreciate it very much.

I was also considering doing mini-skits so that

the students could physically see what each level looks like and sounds like. I have also considered brainstorming a list of describing words for each category with the kids. Finally, I was thinking of having them make one of the levels into a poster (in groups)to display for future reference.
