How many students will you have at a time?? If you are only going to have a couple at a time, you might find you don't need it as a from of behavior management. I used colored sticks at one time. Each student had a different color. They traded their sticks in on different things. They always had the option to "bank" them. We kept track of these like a savings account. This year I am using a ticket system with a little twist. My theme is "On the road to success with a license to learn" and I am trying to work things in with this. AT the same time, I have some children who are working hard to learn | | money skills. The tickets I use have a money amount attached to them. Red are 1, yellow are 5, green are 10, and blue are 25. When they get 5 red, they can trade in for 1 yellow, etc. I am not just doing this as a behavior management. I actually enjoy these things as do the children. Everyone has their own system and it is good to know that there is a lot of diversity out there!
