I used the game last year, but instead of playing individually, I had the students in teams of 4. The mystery prize in our game was a collection of fake money. The teams had to pay to the "mystery prize" once in a while if they picked a community lunck box card that had a fee. The teams earned money for being the most disciplined during the week. With the money, they could buy "Schools" to put on the properties that they owned. I tried to make it as much like the real monopoly game as posiible. The teams worked very well. Each team had a special folder where they kept their money and property cards. Goodluck!
