I really have no ideas about PIR. May I suggest that you call the school secretary. They know everything. Introduce yourself as the new teacher. Tell her that you were asked to attend next weeks PIR meeting. Ask her if there is anything you will need to bring with you for the meeting. Explain that you are not really sure what kind of meeting this is because you are unfamiliar with the acronym. The secretary will probably be happy to assist you. She won't make you feel embarassed. Let's hope she knows what it is all about! Good Luck! Please let all of us know what PIR is?
