name songs
By Julianne

Clip to ScrapBook
I use two - one is by Raffi called Willoby, Walloby. You can probably find it at the library. It goes:
Willoby, Walloby woo, an elephant sat on you,
Willoby, Walloby wee, an elephant sat on me.
Willoby, Walloby Will, an elephant sat on Bill,
Willoby, Walloby Warah, an elephant sat on Sarah. Etc. substituting a W for the first letter in each child's name as the elephant "sits" on them. The kids love it.

The other song I use is called "Where oh Where" and you could sing it to pretty much any tune you make up:

Where oh where is my friend Johnny?
Where oh where is my friend Johnny?
Where oh where is my friend Johnny?
He's sitting right over there. (point)
