Va ideas

Hi Jamie!I too am running in a million directions... Those ideas were great and we do pretty much the same things. The only thing different is assigning a region to each kid and having a list of facts they need to research | about that area. I will give class time but it will be written at home. But it doesn't have to be written, it could be an artsy kind of project. I plan on incorporating more graphic organizers this year. can't find the site but it is the Houghton Mifflin site. What city do you teach in? I am in Suufolk. I have not seen the red packets you were speaking of. We are trying to use the Virginia Experience. Have you seen those? They are wonderful!
I am getting together with my colleagues soon to work on this so when I get some more ideas on geography, I will get back to you.
