It is possible to survive, but you are definitely going to need another job. I make $60 a day subbing. I subbed nearly every day of the school year. I also have another job, which I work at three nights, every Sat., and every other Sunday. It doesn't leave me with much energy (sometimes it is just plain stressful), I have to schedule everything that I have to do, but I have been doing this for 2 years now. It can be done, you just need to be very organized. Good luck.
