First Day Help
By Jerry

Clip to ScrapBook
This happened to me last year. A teacher they expected back didn't return. My advise is to just level with them. Tell them they will have a permanent teacher soon, and that he/she will most likely do thing a bit different than you do. For the most part, act like they ARE YOUR CLASS, because they really are! My class was 6th graders, fresh from a warm, 5th grade environment, suddenly thrown into a Middle School, with about 1,000 other kids, changing classrooms, new faces, etc, plus a Sub! I really felt sorry for them.Jn
