Halloween

At my school, we don't do Halloween. We do celebrate All Saints' Day. We start the day with a special mass. Then we have all school trivia. We all eat lunch a bit early. Then the whole school walks downtown to the local theater. We watch a movie that has been pre-selected and is appropriate for K-8 (this is challenging). Our Home and School Association has been kind enough to pick up the tab for the cost of the movie for all students. Teachers get in free. The students are responsible for bringing money for any snacks at the theater. After the movie, we walk back to school and have outside free time(if there is any time left). It's a great day!
