Agree to Disagree

I think if you go back and read some of Anna's other posts, you'll realize that she has some philosophies and practices that are going to make her different from a lot of us. She has stated that she doesn't give traditional
tests, which many of us do out of personal preference or state/district mandates. She said she doesn't believe in putting stickers on papers or having a good work board, which are also common practices of many teachers. And of course, her main point is that she doesn't give out rewards, which many of us received as children, many teachers give out now, and many experts advocate

as a classroom management system. Therefore, she is just going to be different than we are, and we're not likely to change her mind or her practices. As Emmy said, we'll just have to agree to disagree.
