pen pals

I would love to have a pen-pal class this year. I teach first grade in a small town in New York, and I have 16 students listed so far (school hasn't begun yet for us). Last year my class participated in the postcard exchange and they thought that was great. They would absolutely love their very own pen-pal class. I realize many responses have been posted in regards to your original post and you might have already found a pen-pal, so I am appealing to the other readers out there in different countries that are in first grade.
