Hi there..I just realized that I posted a message and I didn't put in any of my ideas for you! It's been a long weekend! I am starting to get things together for this school year and my brain is going in 50 different directions!!!
Anyway, some of the things that we do at my school, that seem to work are:
*VA Map Project - kids work at home w/ parents
*Salt Maps showing 5 regions
*Travel Brochure for regions
*Jeopardy review game questions
*Can of Knowledge - a large coffee can covered with construction paper and VA facts...we made up questions (similar to SOL questions) to put inside...the | |
kids really like this
*Board Game - with SOL like questions
*Study Guides
*I have, who has game
I am looking foward to hearing some of your ideas for this section! As I think of other things that we do, I will post them.
