I don't use my science book except for the students to read after we have done some activities. I use a ton of resources that I buy at the teacher stores or find on the internet. I also like to use Bill Nye or Magic School bus videos. The kids seem to like these a lot. I would highly recommend using your state standards and then create your own units. Hope this helps.Stacey
