Are you being hypocritical?

I feel very strongly about this issue. I am proud to stand up and say the Pledge of Allegiance every day and my students know it. I am so proud to be a part of a country that guarantees freedom of speech to all of its citizens. It would defeat the purpose to FORCE anyone to pledge allegiance to a flag that guarantees his right to abstain. Don't you think?
