You also need to write down your miles to school. You CANT deduct normal miles to school, ONLY when you go there for special activities. For example, if you have parent conf. and it's after hours (ours were 6-8pm last year), or if you are in pto and you go in for meetings. I have a great tax person who is on top of all that stuff.
