Lewis and Clark
By Debbie

Clip to ScrapBook
Just went on National Geograhic website and found some lesson plans to look at. I'm thinking about starting off the unit with famous explorers students already know and discussing the reasons people explore. What kind of people are they? Move on to "preparing" for the the expedition. Pretend to be Lewis and Clark and "travel" across the states making our own journal entries and learning about physical features, Native American culture and more...Just some quick thoughts. More later.
