Paper bins
By Tina

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi. I saw another 1st grade teacher do this and I'm going to try it this year. I went to a dollar store or Odd Lots type store and purchased some dishwashing bins. The kind you would sit in a sink and wash dishes. I'm going to label each one with a small sticker type label and sit them on a shelf. One for math, writing, reading etc. When students finish work they put their paper in the appropriate bin. At the end of the day you can stack the bins up that need grading and they are all kept together. When finished, you could put them back in each bin so you don't lose them or put them all together in another bin to pass back to students the next day.

Hope this helps.

Tina
