You are bringing back memories I'd forgotten!! Years ago I use to make a balloon animal for my students on their birthday. They got a big kick out of it. Someone had given me a balloon kit ( balloons, pump, guide book). I taught myself to do 2 or 3 of the simplest ones and gave the kids a choice. It didn't take long and they really liked it. Nowadays in California restaurants they have people stroll around and do VERY fancy, elaborate creations (aliens, cartoon characters).So I am not sure kids these days would be so impressed with my doggie or giraffe.
