This book is a great resource for teachers of grades 3-6. It uses the Writing Workshop as a daily class where students write about their lives, in different genres, etc. The book in itself is a wonderful resource. We have been discussing this book for awhile on the TAR, Teachers As Readers Board. Take a look at previous psts and think what might work for you and your classroom environment and needs.
