Clip to ScrapBook
Many of my students exchange their papers. I like this because I feel the kids are getting immediate feedback. As for writing, we only take 1 or 2 major grades per six weeks. I have my kids write daily and build on the skills. I will quickly read each child's writing, making a mental note of the students needing the most help. These kids are pulled aside and given additional instruction. After the first few weeks of school, I usually know each of my students writing styles. Writing is a difficult subject to keep up with, but I feel it is one of the most important for the kids to master.
