I am just a second year teacher but want to share one thing I did with my first grade class last year that I really thought was neat. I took a whole class then individual pictures of each of my students. At the end of the year, I took another picture of each of them. When you are trying to fill those last few days, give them both pictures to tape to a piece of construction paper titled "How my body grew this year" and on the back or another sheet of paper have different ideas for them to complete like "How my mind grew this year" Some of them will put down things that surprise you.
