It was your line "...then even if there are hockey teams they are not in as many competitions and the ability for movement to the higher leagues would be limited." that I took offense to, as it implies extreme bias, intentioned or not. Also, you may think 200 km is nothing, but when you work, have a family, and are trying to get one or more of your kids to hockey practice at least 2 or 3 times a week, it's a long distance.
