Star of the Week

Good Question! All students in my class know that this is a priviledge to be the star of the week. If students misbehave, have incomplete homework, ect.... I have had to excuse them from activies. It has been my experience that students look forward to being star of the week, and this is so positive for them. If the star of the week does not have homework complete, or misbehaves, I do allow them to choose classmates to help with any jobs that need to be done. I have a container with all of the students name in it for me to pick helpers when the star of the week is absent.
