name game

I was taught this name game, and you may know it, but I just wanted to share it with you just in case. It starts out with yourself and you say "Someone stole a cookie from the cookie jar. Wasn't me, (fill in the first child's name) must have stolen the cookie from the cookie jar. Then it goes around the room and the child always uses the name of the person beside them. The last child uses the name of the teacher. It is a cute way for everyone to get to know their classmates names.
