Sounds like the new teacher has some nerve. Most new teachers are very nervous and shy about asking for help, let alone taking things from your cabinets!

It would probably be best to just talk it out now before you internalize the irritation and become bitter. Remember: you have to work with this person for at least a year.

Maybe suggest at your next meeting that you'd like to see some of her ideas. Always bring the focus back to her and maybe she'll leave your stuff alone.

I hope others have suggestions for you. I'm a fairly new teacher and can't help much.
