I don't think it is necessary information. In fact, I think some students will take advantage of that info when it comes to behavior. Plus, I think some parents may try to use that against you if you are trying to get their support in dealing with their child's behavior. I guess it all depends on what population you teach. I don't think it's being dishonest by not mentioning it. I would never lie if someone asked, that would be dishonest. Whatever you decide to do, best of luck in your first year!
