grades
By Donna

Clip to ScrapBook
I if understand your problem correctly you want to know how to grade the paper and get a number right?? my school district has a grading scale.. for example 93-100 A 85-92 B 76-84 c 70-75 D and below 75 F. now when I grade
my papers lets say there are 20 questions on the test. Divide 20 into 100 and thats means each question is worth 5 points each. Then you subtract the total number missed from 100 to obtain their score. So lets say they miss 3 out of 20. 3 questions worth 5 points each (3x5=15) 100-15=85 then they got 85% which in my district is a B. When i record the grades in my gradebook i record
the number grades then at the end of the term i add total of all test scores and divide it by the number of tests to get their final score for the term. I hope this is what you were asking!
