We have been without a/c in our school since I was a student there. However, this past year our PTO was bound and determined to raise the necessary funds to give all of us a/c. They did it! We now have a/c throughout our school. When I asked if I could install a unit myself, it was not feasible for the electrical systems we had. So be mindful before you spend a lot of money. I am also aware that a few students who were asthmatic had the a/c and wiring put in their classrooms because it's a medical excuse. It would seem to me that this should be the same for the teacher.
