Clip to ScrapBook
This past year I used a chip system with my class. We defined behaviors as being above the line (acceptable) or below the line...If their behavior was below the line I would say chip and they would put one of their poker chips into a bucket. If I was teaching up front they would put the chip in during work time. The chips were poker chips I purchased at Shopko and put magnets on the back..They stuck them to their desks in the front, this prevented them with playing with them during class. The only problem I had was in tracking the chips at the end of the day. I made it a job and had someone call for individual chip count. I then gave rewards based on the number of chips they had...games with the teacher during recess, free homework pass, etc.
