Don't give up. I was just hired 2 weeks ago for a special ed. position. After I was hired, at least 5 other districts called me for an interview. Keep sending your resume out. I've always been told that your resume has to
be received at the right time or else it just gets shoved in a file. I called different district's superintendent's offices and asked if there were any positions available and I got lucky. One district told me what school was still looking and I sent my resume directly to that principal. She called me as soon as she opened up my resume and asked if I could come right in. She hired me the
next day. I have been job hunting for 1 year now and I couldn't be happier. It will happen for you too. Have faith. But I have found the best results in getting an interview is to send your resume right to the principal, not the superintendent's office. Good luck.
