Don't give up. I was just hired 2 weeks ago for a special ed. position. After I was hired, at least 5 other districts called me for an interview. Keep sending your resume out. I've always been told that your resume has to| be received at the right time or else it just gets shoved in a file. I called different district's superintendent's offices and asked if there were any positions available and I got lucky. One district told me what school was still looking and I sent my resume directly to that principal. She called me as soon as she opened up my resume and asked if I could come right in. She hired me the | | next day. I have been job hunting for 1 year now and I couldn't be happier. It will happen for you too. Have faith. But I have found the best results in getting an interview is to send your resume right to the principal, not the superintendent's office. Good luck.
