art and crafts

Hi Tara

You might also want to post on the arts and crafts board.

I struggle in this area myself - I do try to do some of my art around my science units - so during my colours unit where we mix paints, etc., I will have
them make fall pictures. We also do coffee filter dyeing and use those as suncatchers and also for an art project I do at Christmas.

I also do a lot of art around the different holidays.

I have quite a few websites for arts and crafts on my school's webpage. If you are interested in the address just send me an email.

Here are a few of the better sites I've used in the past.

This next one is fantastic. It's a teacher's web site (Mrs. Burns) and she has templates for windwocks and quilts you can access.
