Demcracy

I've been looking at the Classroom Management board (link is on the Vent page) at Marvin Marshall and his views on putting responsibility on the students. While I don't always believe in following one persons viewpoint totally, he has some great ideas about class. management and I'm going to try his ideas. Please check it out- it is kinda like a democracy, but it really emphasizes putting responsibility for following rules on students, and not on us constantly enforcing rules. I teach 5th and if his approach really works, I think it sounds fantastic!
