*how I handle birthdays *transportation policy *what to do when a student is absent *copies of cursive writing alphabet so parents will know the CORRECT way to form letters *grading scale *first quarter objectives in addition I always have parents fill out a worksheet about their child. It helps parents feel part of them education team. It includes questions like what are your childs strengths and weaknesses, what does your child want to be when they grow up, how do you know you child is have difficulty, how do you help you child at home, what is the best way your child learns, etc. This really helps you get to know the parent and the child at the beginning of the year.
