classroom dictionary
By jessica/3/MO

Clip to ScrapBook
I use a regular pocket chart for the classroom dictionar. This is wonderful and keeps your from respelling a word over and over. Write each letter of the alphabet on an index card and then write a few commonly misspelled words on those cards. Then throughout the year when students ask you to spell a word for them they have to first go to the dictionar and see if that word is already on the card. It the word is not then I write in on there and the dictionary grows throughout the year. You will be shocked at how much the kids will use it.
