Rubric/Checklist?
By Julie

Clip to ScrapBook
Something we are working on for our math and reading curriculums, is to create a checklist or rubric with the skills we want our students to have. Maybe by adding a small checklist of three or four skills you were observing would be helpful to the parents. For example:

-Student made a clear and well-thought prediction of story.
-Student participated in the literature discussion in a cooperative manner.
-Student asked questions that provoked thought and discussion in the group.

Be sure to share whatever you come up with - we're still looking for ideas!
