I don't see anything wrong with letting them know you'd like the club advisor position. It's too bad you didn't know about it when you had your interview or wrote your thank-yous, but I don't think one extra letter will seem off-putting to them. More than one probably would, though. I think you've done all you can do for this one--now the decision's up to them. Good luck!
