hi there Suzie,
I have relatives at Coffs Harbour and Bowraville although we haven't stayed there for long periods - mainly as weekend stops on the way to Qld. I have a whole contingent of relos living at mermaid Beach,
including my parents and grandfather. All have moved there over the years.
Luckily for me, I am 4 year trained - my aunt who lives there as well used to work for St Hildas but now works at TAFE, along with my mum.(or should it be mom on this site?)
I have put down about 50 places ranging from Port Macquarie district thru to Tweed/Ballina. I have 21 points which is enough to move

around Sydney but not enough to move north, obviously. My principal said in the last week of term he would ring up for me, which could hold a bit of weight, biut since then there have been more pressing problems at the school that I haven't liked to bother him with it at this stage. We have just had to engage the services of a Security guard for most of the day as three "toerags" on their bikes are targeting our school, and a few others in the district, and breaking into our cars. First and 2nd days into term 3, last week, and five cars were done. The police seem unable to catch these 15 yr olds! Sorry, I ramble now - frustration! hopefully, I'll get that move - out of Sydney!
