    It is really hard to find curriculum out there. I have been teaching a class like yours for two years. Here is what I have done:
    look at lesson plans at their developmental level and try to find ways to make it more age appropriate. For example, a money lesson plan that involves pretend purchases of toys could be modified to buying a bus pass or movie ticket Keep the focus on functional skills, as related to IEP goals & objectives. Check out curriculum resources from Mayer-Johnson for your non-readers.
    Our typical day is: Meal preparation (students cook, set the table, clean), grooming, individual work stations (IEP objectives), free time, Adaptive PE, lunch, Community outings. If you need more help, email me!
